ZONES
When using GreenGo, you'll come across various zones. To help you identify them and understand the corresponding colors on the map, we've collected everything you need to know on this page. Soon, you'll be an expert at navigating the world of names and colors.
GreenGo service zone
The green zone is GreenGo's main service area, a large area on the map where you can freely pick up and rent cars. This is the zone where you're most likely to find vehicles available for your everyday rentals. While you can leave this zone during your rental, it's the only place to end your rental.
Of course, there are some exceptions...let’s see what these are!
External Zones
External Zones are extensions of the main service area, designed to make GreenGo more accessible to those who live or work further from the city center. Although part of the broader green zone, these areas are further away from the main service area. In the External Zones, you can start and end rentals, with additional fees depending on your price plan.

The External Zones are also marked with green, with square markers of the same colour on the map and are located in the following areas:

- Pesterzsébet
- Budaörs
- Pesthidegkút
- Budafok
- Hűvösvölgy
- Havannatelep, Szent Lőrinc-telep
- Dunakeszi
- Centenáriumi lakótelep
- Soroksári IKEA
Discount Parking Zones
In the app, zones where you can park your GreenGo at a lower cost than the usual parking fee are marked with blue.

35 Ft/minute
Green Plus
35 Ft/minute
Green Premium
24 Ft/minute
These Discounted Parking Zones allow you to enjoy trips to the riverside, days out in the city, or shopping excursions at a lower parking per minute fee.
However, there's an important distinction to note: you cannot end your rental in these blue zones. You can park there temporarily but must return the car to the main service area to close your rental.
Please note that discounted parking is not available for the GreenGo Cargos.

Extra Zones
The Extra Zones, marked with orange, offer interesting features and services. These centrally located zones are home to GreenGo's special vehicles, like the Renault Kangoo and Opel Vivaro, designed for carrying heavy loads, and the long-range Kia Niro. If you need them immediately, you can pick them up here.

Remember, some models can only be rented through GreenGo Comfort service. To serve as many needs as possible, you have to take these cars back to the Extra Zones at all times.
